Yes, yes, we finally went out and did it. Pokehut has expanded into the land of the Wiki. But what is it, you wonder, that makes the Pokehut Wiki different from all the other pokemon wiki's out there? Well thats simple.
Pokehut is an IRC centered semi-roleplay, text based, strategy combat system, and as any fan driven game is bound to go, some information had to be changed, warped or added onto as the trainers within the game system battle. With a partially Roleplay inspired background, the rules systems merely affect how combat is run, and from time to time a new battleground may be added while another is destroyed from great battles.
While there is no specific storyline at the moment, Pokehut has managed to last quite a few years. Granted, the system changed hands several times and rules were changed every year to reflect fixing loopholes or to increase player satisfaction, but the core of the game remains. We still go out of our way to make battles interesting while the little phantasmagorical creatures beat the living snot out of eachother.
Warning!: Pokehut's player base is generally in the mid teenage and college level, though anyone who can accept the chance for descriptive violence, the clubbing of small animals, winning by drowning your opponent in a trash can or that Krabby's claws might just be large enough to cause deep bleeding wounds on impact should be right at home here. Just a warning to those who cheered for the beginning of the paragraph; we also have psychotic girls with robotic parts, pokemorphs, inanimate objects, hyperactive idealists and relatively bent minds that can turn any battle into a Mature Rating at any given moment. You have been warned.
